Many food and drink containers are made using BPA which can seep into the food or drink, especially when exposed to heat. To avoid consuming BPA, choose only plastic containers that specifically state they are BPA-free, or alternatives such as glass, porcelain or stainless steel. Avoid using plastic dishes when warming food in the microwave and use glass storage containers when storing food in the refrigerator.
